9-10 Girls 4x400m Relay Team
The 9-10 Girls made their mark not only by winning the 4x400m relay but they also broke the record. The team of Dynasty McClennon, Jalen Elrod, Daja Maxey and Maryah Hampton's new record was 2 seconds faster than the previous one. Dynasty also won silver in the 200m and the 400m. Jalen won the bronze in the 400m and Maryah captured the 8th place medal in that event also.
Adaora Nwokeji
Adaora Nwokeji won the 9-10 Girls long jump with a distance of 13’-9.50”. Although her goal was to break the record, being a national champion is still a great reason to celebrate.

Arianna Stegall
Another field event win for the 9-10 Girls came when Arianna Stegall threw the shot put for a distance of 31 feet. After winning the bronze last year Arianna wanted to make sure this year it would be gold.

Camila Vicens
In her second year of participating in track and field, Camila Vicens increased her national gold medal count to 5 in the 1500m race walk. In the 2013 AAU National Junior Olympic, Camila set a new national record in the 11 Girls division 1500m race walk with a time of 7:17.80. She also earned a 5th place medal in the 3000m race. At the USATF Junior Olympic Camila won the silver medal in the 1500m race medal. In addition to her Junior Olympic medals won this year, she also won first place in the USATF Youth Outdoor Nationals.
Lucas Bourgoyne
Lucas Bourgoyne of the 11-12 boys won gold in the 3000m race at USATF Junior Olympic and was part of the 4x800m team that won the bronze medal. In the AAU Junior Olympic, Lucas won the 3000m and took silver in the 800m and 1500m races.

13-14 Boys 4x800m Relay Team
The 13-14 Boys 4x800 relay team of Matthew Abrahams, Deonte Bradford, Randall Jubilee and Tyler Litton won gold at the USATF Junior Olympic. This is the second straight year this division has won this event.

Samiyah Samuels
Samiyah Samuels won the 15-16 Girls long jump event at the USATF National Junior Olympic.
15-16 Boys 4x800m Relay Team
The 15-16 Boys 4x800 relay team also won gold at the USATF Junior Olympic with the team of Kendall Brown, Cameron White, Robert Lewis, Oscar DeLeon. An interesting note is that 3 of these athletes return to this division next year.
